Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) Treatment
Persistent postural perceptual dizziness (PPPD) is a chronic vestibular disorder characterized by persistent dizziness or unsteadiness, often exacerbated by changes in posture or visual stimulation (i.e. a visual-vestibular mismatch).
PPPD is a diagnosis of exclusion, meaning that other vestibular or neurological disorders have to be ruled out before this diagnosis can be made. PPPD is thought to be a type of visual-vestibular mismatch. Several patients diagnosed with PPPD have reported improvement of visual-vertigo symptoms after treatment with Dr. Loopeker’s OpticNeuro Lens Therapy.
