Long COVID & Adverse Effects to Vaccination Treatment

After successfully treating more than a thousand patients with post-concussion syndrome, Dr. Loopeker began receiving enquires from people experiencing very similar symptoms to a bad concussion; however, no history of concussion or whiplash-like injury was present. Several of these patients attributed the sudden onset of their dizziness, brain fog, spatial disorientation, inability to focus, tinnitus and balance difficulties to either a COVID vaccination, or getting COVID itself. A few of these patients had a confirmed diagnosis of vestibular neuritis; however, most did not.

Vestibular neuritis is a condition characterized by inflammation of the vestibular nerve (part of cranial nerve VIII) responsible for transmitting signals from the inner ear to the brainstem to help maintain balance and spatial orientation.  It typically presents with sudden and severe vertigo, often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and imbalance, hearing loss, or tinnitus (ringing in the ears).

Although Dr. Loopeker is not claiming to treat vestibular neuritis or Long-COVID itself (nor is he advocating against vaccinations), several patients with chronic “concussion-like” symptoms suspected of having “Long COVID”-related or vaccination-related vestibular neuritis have experienced significant reduction of their visual-vertigo symptoms after treatment with Dr. Loopeker’s OpticNeuro Lens Therapy.
