We attempt to only select and accept patients that are likely to be responsive to treatment

Our Selectivity:

• V&ONC is purposeful in selecting and limiting our patient population to those experiencing a select category of visual dysfunctions.  
• We are intent in choosing one thing and doing it very well.
• This strategy allows us to focus our attention and energy towards a very specific patient population, enabling us to examine and treat a high concentration of similar patients, facilitating a deeper immersion and an opportunity to examine and contribute to the latest research.
• Knowledge acquired from one patient can quickly be tested, shared, and implemented within our program, hopefully contributing to the genesis of tomorrow’s new treatment protocols.

Our Integrity:

• We are purposeful in accepting only patients into our Clinic whom we think we can help.   We will be upfront and truthful when we think we cannot.  
• We do not want to waste an individual’s time, energy, or resources, with false hope or expectations on unrealistic success ideals; and will confidently refer you to an alternative practitioner who we believe may be of greater value. 
• In other words, we don’t want to accept a patient unless we believe we can help and be of value.
