Is it vision… vestibular…

or both?

Visual-Vestibular Mismatch (VVM) occurs when visual information from the eyes do not match the balance signals from the vestibular system. This sensory conflict can lead to numerous problems as a result of the the brain’s inability to accurately interpret, organize, and understand the surrounding physical space. Frequently, the visual system takes over and produces the sensation of movement when none is occurring which can cause significant brain confusion. Essentially it becomes difficult to trust either visual or vestibular information when these two systems are in disagreement.

What makes us different?

It’s all about the lenses!

OpticNeuro Lens Therapy (ONLT) is a therapeutic approach discovered, developed and solely utilized by Dr. Loopeker. Lens Therapy resynchronizes the visual and vestibular pathways to treat the brain confusion problem created by this visual-vestibular mismatch. We use lenses and the dominance of the visual system to re-establish reduced connection between these two parts of the brain improving stability and fostering an enhanced environment for rehabilitation of multiple related symptoms.
